Assalamualaikum and Hello 2012. Welcome to my life. I pray to Allah that this year I'll be in a good health and prosperity all the way. I pray that Allah will protect my family and I from any catastrophe. I pray that Allah will granted all of my prayers in the future. Amin.

Will be writing again soon. My final presentation is just around the corner. I have good news to share. So, I'll be writing again soon. ^_^

New Blog

A lecturer once told me that if you wanted your work to be recognize by other people, you should start writing it bit by bit and get it published. It takes me a while to realize that there are ways for an individual like me to get the attention from the internet world to read my work.

Blogging is one of the effective and efficient medium that I could use to published my own work. Therefore, I have decided to create another blog that I will be writing about my field of interest such as Finance, Islamic Finance, Economics and etc, with hope that someone will read them and gain knowledge from what I will write.

This blog you ask? This one is too personal for such an exquisite piece of work. As the saying goes, never let personal matter mixed with your works. So, I'll be adding this up into my 2012 list along with another planned project by me and my husband.

The Final Lap

Welcome December. Alhamdulillah, Allah still wants me to be better in life, so He still let me breath until another December comes.

December will be a challenging month for me.

It's the final lap for me and my fellow MBA friends.

It is the most crucial time of the year.

We are now near to the end.

Final project for the semester, final exams and Research is on the line.

It will be tough but knowing all of you for the past year I know some how, we will make it through.

A Note to Honey

It was my first month in a new school.
I still feel like an alien in a new planet.
I walk around school during class hour.
Just to wonder around and look at the new place.
That was the time I saw you for the first time.

It was the beginning of a new class period and you were outside your class.
Just hanging out and laughing around with your friends.
Since that day, I keep on seeing you around.

Years later, on Friendship/Valentines day ( I can't remember).
I was called by a senior prefect.
She was your Kakak Angkat.
She asked me to deliver a lolipop to you.
That was how I got to know your name.
That was the first time we ever speak to each other.

We started to see each other often when I started to be the school prefect.
We started to become close.
You call me once a while.
We started to hangout together after school.
and than one day you pop out the question.

25 years and counting

Happy Birthday to me!
I'm officially 25 years old.
Quarter of a decade.

Today, I'll be writing about me.
I was born 25 years ago in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur.
I am the first child to my ayah and mama.
I am the first grandchild to my tokwea and tok ayoh.
I am now officially a wife to a wonderful husband name Ahmad Shah Razin B. Shahril.

Sounds wonderful right? But actually no.
I learn about life the hardest way.
I was not the smartest in the family.
I was the one to get last place in class.
I was able to read and write at the age of 9 (lambat kn? I think I have dyslexia).
But in time, things turn out right when I score 1A 3Bs and 1C for my UPSR.
that was my biggest accomplishment because there is no Ds or Fs in my results (which I get all the time during my primary years).

I was the one who scored the worst SPM result in 2004, 3Bs 4Cs 1D and 1E.
and I was the first in the family to entered IPTS (why? with the result like mine, who bothered to accept me into their institutions, not worth it! hehehe).
and I did very well and earned myself a spot in UiTM for Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance), one of the toughest program available in UiTM (tell me about it!).
and now, I will be the first to earn my Master of Business Administration at the age of 25.
Not so bad for a dyslexic girl right?!
and I am thankful to Allah that He created me this way.
I really do learn a lot and I am proud of what I have become now.

In a Few Days

In a few days, I'll be ending my life as a single women. I can't believe I'll be writing this now. I still remember the first time I entered school. Everything was very alien like. The school was big and the pupils were much bigger than I am. Then, suddenly, I entered secondary school, where I had to face my teenagers life the hardest way. With just a blink of an eye, I entered college where freedom wasn't really what I wanted. Next, I furthered my studies to bachelor level and now I am few meters away from completing my Masters.

Life had just started for me, and now, I'll be entering a new chapter. Soon I'll become someone's wife ^_^

It is quite intimidating, exciting, nervous, scared and all sorts of feelings that existed in this universe. But, I am happy, much happier than I was back than. This wasn't a though decision to make. I know that Allah have planned great things for me. Insya Allah, everything will be fine.

Subahanallah, only two more weekends and I'll become a wife!
Only Allah knows how nervous I am right now!

Preparation? Alhamdulillah, I bought everything I need for the ceremony.
Maybe I'll be needing to buy few more things for touch-up later.
I've send all invitation cards by mail, only few more to give away by hand.
I've confirm every thing: photographer, wedding dress, nikah dress, food, tents and most importantly JURUNIKAH! ^_^

Ok, I need to stop now.
I'm shaking just to think about it.
I'm so nervous!!
I pray that everything will go as plan, Insya Allah.

Not to complain but it's too much. I thought the more you learn the better you'll become because I do. But some people just don't want to learn and depends on other too much! Should be by now, you know where to look for what ever you want. Google, Bing and Yahoo are here to help, plus Wikipedia will never let us down. look around for information, if we were wrong at the first attempt, try again. NEVER afraid to make mistakes because by doing mistake you'll learn triple more than what others does!

SO please, stop making my head pounding like H@#$ because I have a wedding to prepare. Lots of other stuff I need to think about.

Delima..ke?!

Am I the only one who felt that time moves so fast that it is now mid of October? Gosh! Felt just like it was yesterday I celebrated my Hari Raya in Kelantan. Every time I look on my planner/schedule, there is no time left for fun. It's either classes or assignment or wedding stuff. But still, I am thankful enough to Allah that I am still given a chance to breath.

The wedding is less than a month and preparation as I would say, it is about 60% done. A lot more to do, with so little time. Insya Allah, everything will go as plan.

It is now a trend where every newly married couple live with their parents and parents-in-laws. Because it is very difficult to find a cheap house for rent nowadays. Even an apartment with 2 bedrooms will cost about RM1,200 in Klang Valley, especially in Petaling Jaya, Damansara, Subang Jaya, and Shah Alam. However, if you don't mind spending RM600-RM800 per month on petrol, you could afford to rent at a cheap price in Rawang, Sungai Buloh, and certain part in Klang (as you go further towards Kuala Selangor).

I am having a hard time finding a place to stay after the ceremony. The best solution is to stay with our parents while I'm completing my Postgraduate studies and after that we will think of something. I am worried because, I will be jobless for a couple my of month after completing my studies and that will burden my other half as he need to pay everything (from car, house and bills).

So, I really need a plan and I am currently looking for every opportunity that I have to venture into a business. I just need to look into the strength and weaknesses that I have and match it with the opportunity and threats that I will be facing. Ok! now I sound like writing my assignment. Enough of mumbling. I have a talk to attend tomorrow and I will share with you what I learn.

P/S: I should write about my field of study once a while, and yea my entry is dull without any photo in it.

Cleaning up This Dusty Blog..

I have been missing to write for such a long time, only I have no time to write.
Life has been very busy lately, everything is happening.
With a wedding coming up less than a month and a research to be completed before January.
My planner is full with classes and appointments.

Everything is going as planned.
I am looking forward to my wedding ^_^
It will be the most happiest day of my life.
Can't wait to see my long lost Seafield friends, meet up with 9teen friends and get together with IIC team.
Still have a lot to do, but hopefully, with Allah's will, everything will go smoothly as plan. Insya Allah.

Journey to Syawal

I haven't been this excited in years because this will be my last year spending my hari raya as a single women. This year we will be celebrating Syawal in Kelantan. I can't remember when was the last time I travel back to Kelantan. It was a very very very tiring journey.

The journey start at 3.00am in the morning. As soon ayah starts the car engine, I dooze off the whole way, until we reach Raub. Surprisingly, the were no massive traffic jam as it always been. Probably because people had little by little started to make their way out of the city since Friday. Alhamdulillah. We reach Raub at 4.30am and had our sahur there. We didn't wait for subuh prayer, and continue our journey. Ayah was trying to find a mousque in Kuala Lipis for subuh prayer but end up going around the same place twice! How the road had change. We end up praying subuh in the car at a near by Petrol station.

So we continue our journey. Along the way it was green and peaceful, fog were covering the top of the trees and the air smells like the forest. What a wonderful feeling. By that time, there were many cars on the road and slowly it becomes a traffic jam! Once a KL-ian always a KL-ian. They want to show of their impatient driving skill on a small road in the middle of nowhere. Few cars had a minor accident along the way. Then I fall asleep again.

At 8.30am, we had reach Gua Musang, we were already half way through. Ayah said the car was almost overheated, so we stay there for a while letting the car to cool itself down and ayah could have a quick rest. We continue the journey at 9.00am and the traffic is getting heavier. More minor accident along the road that causes a massive traffic jam in Gua Musang. Luckily there were alternative roads and we managed to reach at my uncle's house in Wakaf Baru at 1.00pm.

Today is the last day of Ramadhan, and the weather is gloomy. May be it is sad because Ramadhan will be leaving in few more hours. Today we weill be having an iftar here at my uncle's house. Everyone will be here. I can't wait for that!

My Ramadhan will never be complete without having Iftar with those who are dear to me!

1st weekend of Ramadhan, I went for Iftar at my Mok Long's house. I name them The BOSTEK!

What BOSTEK means? It is actually a fried banana...ahahha...apparently, my little cousin does not know what that golden deep fried banana is so she decided to called it BOSTEK! creative right?!

This is a must have for each year's Iftar...Homemade Nasi Kerabu...ahhhh...I could still taste it in my mouth..

My uncle and cousin, we all love nasi kerabu made by tokwea and mok long ^_^

This little one is my cousin ^_^ Her name is Zarin Kaisaran..

I called her no 25..why? because she's my cousin no 25 ^_^

2nd week of Ramadhan, I had if tar with the IICian batch 2004.

Just in blink of an eye, we had left college for 7 Years now.

Time fly so fast, but we still are close to each other like the old times.

Always have cakes, at least two!

They are my heart ^_^

After seven years, one of my classmate is married and this is his daughter...She is 2 years old!

This is all of us, but still not all tho..huhuh..fun meeting them ^_^

The cake is the main attraction of that night...huhuh..

The ladies of IICian ^_^ wish Hanna could be there...

On the third week of Ramadhan, I had Iftar with my schoolmates/bestiest ^_^

It should be six of us but she can't make it do only 5 of us were there that night..

We had Iftar at Wong Solo Sekseyn 7..

It was crowded people!! Its a full house!

Luckly I made a reservation.

After that, we had our desert at Tutti Fruiti at Seksyen 7

It was fun ^_^

My Engagement (Part 2)

Believe it or not it, I have been engage for almost 4 months.
The 4 months time had bring us closer and get to know each other better.
We spend time together and get to know each other's family.
We also did some shopping for our wedding and only few more items left to buy and we're done!

I love him, and i'm glad that we are one step closer to become a couple!

Bulan puasa kali ini betul-betul mencabar aku.

Mula-mula handphone rosak, lepas tu laptop plak rosak.

Sekarang, bumper kereta plak tercabut.

Ayah aku tak tahu lg yang bumper kete aku tercabut.

Tunggu la die balik nanti, hmmmm...

Tak baik mengeluh macam ni. Nampak macam orang yang tak bersyukur.

Bukan tak bersyukur, cuma rasa rendah diri sangat bila dibandingkan dengan orang lain.

Confident dalam diri ni dah sangat rendah. Dah tak macam dulu.

Dah tu, pegi la beli yang baru je! Ape susah!

Memang tak susah, tapi rasanye semua tu masih boleh dipakai lagi.

Kalau beli yang baru, nanti tak terpakai plak, dah membazir jadinye.

Lagipun, duit tu sume banyak nak gune untuk bende lain yang lagi penting.

Kalau macam tu, tak payah la bising-bising macam ni!!

Aku cume perlukan tempat untuk luahkan ape yang aku rase.

Tunang ko kan ade, pegi la luahkan kat dia!

This is the month that I've been waiting for.

The month of full blessing from Allah.

I love ramadhan.

It always give me this wonderful feeling.

As happy as I could be, sadness will always be present.

This will be our second year celebrating Ramadhan and Syawal without atuk.

I miss him. Every time he slip into my mind, tears will fall like rain.

I'm sorry atuk, I can't help myself.

Each time I think of him, I'll recite Al-Fatihah.

Insya Allah by doing so, he will be at peace.

This will be my last Ramadhan as a single women.

Yea, getting married this year.

I pray to Allah that everything will go as plan.

Insya Allah.

I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry for all my wrong doings.

I pray that this Ramadhan will bring us all Rahmat and Baraqah from Allah.

A Year After.

I still remember that day, I was busy with MBA's Induction Program, while he was admitted in the hospital.
I didn't saw it coming.
I thought it was like the first time he was admitted.
He was brought home few days after.
He was still alive.
But this time...

It was Sunday night ( yes I still remember what day it was).
I was at home, resting after two tiring day in Kuala Kubu.
Mama called 'looks like he will not survive another night'.
But I said to myself he will, because he is a strong man.

I completed my assignment at dawn that Monday (19th July 2010).
I emailed it to the group-mates (luckly they understand).
Mama called again that morning 'can you pack me some clothes for three night stay?'
My heart was beating like a drum.

'Wait for me Atuk' that was all I said all the way to Melaka.
I recite Al-fatihah and Surah Yassin the whole way to Melaka.
I stopped for a quick nap because I was so sleepy.
If only I didn't stop for that quick nap.
I could at least teach him to say the syahadah.

I arrived at kampung, and there he was lying in the middle of the room.
I started crying as soon as I saw mama and nenek sitting next to him.
I can't help myself.
I've learned that if we cry for the deceased, it will only makes him/her suffer more.
But I can't help it.

I recite the Al-Quran, but I was struggling all the way.
Than I remembered that my sisters haven't heard the news yet.
I called my 3rd sister, she cried immediately after I told her the news.
She was in Sarawak at that time.
I called my 2nd sister, telling her that I was rushing to get her from the campus.
She was half an hour away from atuk's house.

When we arrived an hour latter, atuk is ready to be taken to the Kubur.
He was looking dashingly handsome, like he haven't aged at all.
The best part, he was smiling.
We kiss him goodbye and we all prayed for him.

That was a year a go.

Today, exactly at this our, we completed burial ceremony.

I miss him. We all do.

My Part Time Jobs!

I love the government so much! (erk! really?)

Because they gave my fellow MBA's and I a semester worth of semester break! T_T

Happy aren't we friends? Haha...

Yes, I am having a semester break melt down people!

But not for too long because I am making myself busy with part time jobs..Yes JOBS!

During the day I work as an Administrator at my brother's school, Integrated Islamic School Shah Alam.

I do administration work and being the assistant to all the teachers.

Oh yes. They included a new task for me, The School Blogger!

Yes people! Blogging is now an occupation! ^_^

On the evening, I give tuition classes to standard 1, 2 & 3 students.

I used to have 3 students but now I have 6 students...

Crazy I tell you! but they are all cute!

and during the weekends, I am a wedding planner with my fiancée ^_^

My Weekends

We spend a day together, watched movies and survey things for our hantaran.

He had lose some of that weight..proud of him ^_^

Me? O I still have a long way to go. A lot more weight to lose.

But we still eat our heart out!

Want to get Marry?

Are you thinking of getting married? Are you well prepared to share everything with your other half? Are you ready to hold the responsibilities of being a husband or a wife and a child at the same time? Do you have enough money to support more than one person? If your answer is no, you better think again.

It is not about the engagement ceremony or the kenduri itself. It is about responsibility, trust and compromising with not only your other half but their family as well. You need to remember that you are not only married to your other half but his or her family as well. The kenduri is about letting others know that you are lawfully married, so that when others bump into you else where they wont be shock.

The most important key words to remember is to plan according to your budget. Getting marry is no longer as simple as what it used to be back than: kompang, simple decorated pelamin (some have none), only 5 to 7 of hantaran and giving only boiled egg rapped with napkin paper to respective guest. But now, getting marry is like planning for a dinner event; with beautiful decoration all over the house, a beautiful and grand pelamin, 10 to 13 of hantaran and some event book a convention hall for their wedding.

I wonder, who started it all? Do want to know why? People are now actually competing with each other in preparing the most grand wedding of their life. But what they really need to realize is, that is not what it is about. It should be about moderation and going according to what you are AFFORD to spend.

You probably wondering why am I posting such entry. Well I'll be getting marry in just 3 more months and I am having the most difficult time in my life. Lots to be done but I don't know where am I at now. Here is what I already have:

Bahan-bahan to decorate my hantaran.
Kain to make baju nikah.
Dulang hantaran.
Alas dulang.
Mak andam.

Check list? Doesn't help! or is it just me that does not know how to use a check list! Agrh!!

Good News and Sad News

Ok, just a quick post entry.

Good news.

I get good grades for last semester's examination.

Alhamdulillah, all the hardship that I've gone through had been paid off.

Mama was glowing when I said the news too her.

Alhadulillah, I made them happy and proud ^_^

Ok, here goes. Sad news.

A great granduncle of mine past away this morning at 1.40am.

He had been a real fighter for the last few years of his life.

He had a wonderful and loving children and grandchildren that is always there for him.

I pray that Allah will meet them up in Jannah.

Feeling A Little bit Melodic!

As I grew up, I never learn every single event the easy way, it's always the hardest way.
When I say every thing, I really mean everything.
Studies, friendship, love, trust, and etc.
The difficulties that I have encounter was not from misconduct of others, it was mine to blame.
Along the way, I lost some friends, being left away in the middle of a big crowd.
However, at the end of the story, I make new friends, those who understand that I was just being myself.

That is why I like to be in my own world; arts, photography, and of course you my love.
You are the reason why I am strong.
Only you realize how strong I am.
and Only you know how far I could go.
And for that I thank you love.

The past has made me stronger.
Not too strong, but strong enough to say to others that 'if you managed to be noticed from within the crowd, you will be just fine'.

No matter what Allah has planned for you, the number one thing that you should never forget is to never give up. My Engagement (Part 1)

It is official!
I am now engaged to Ahmad Shah Razin!
Mood: Happy.

The engagement ceremony was held at my parents residents here in Shah Alam.
It was held on 15 May 2011 (Sunday).

Well, I manage to snap few pictures before the ceremony begins (hahahah...sempat lagi ok!)

These picture was taken by my sister.

I am still waiting for the pictures from my official photographer..I'll update the pictures as soon as I get them.

Semester break...

I am now in my 9th day of semester break and only few days left until my engagement day...
owwhhh..I do not know whether I am stress or just nervous about all this..
I've been sick for the couple of weeks..
At first, my tonsil started to swelling up and because of that I had a fever.
few days after that, the tonsil recovered (after the doctor prescribe me with antibiotic) and I started out coughing like mad!
it was painful and tiring..and until now, the coughing wont go away..
I've drink 4 bottles of coughing syrup but it still wont go anywhere..
My nights are now restless, I didn't get enough sleep..
and now my stomach is in pain..and it has been 3 days now..
and my engagement day is just days away..I hope everything will went well...

Counting the Days

I'm a little bit tense during this time of year.
Assignments, research and final exams keeps bugging me on.
I know I shouldn't be mumbling about this..
But sometimes saying it out loud makes me feel better.

But I hope by end of this month I'll be feeling much better.
I am counting days actually.
I'll be getting engage in 3 weeks! ^_^

Preparation...emmm...
To be honest, all I have done is confirming with the catering and tents people..
I've yet to start with the hantaran and everything else..
I'm worried, because I didn't seems to have enough time to do so..
But hopefully by end of this month I could focus on the preparation..
and I pray to Allah that everything will be going as planned..

I went to Sarawak on 10/4 and spend the weekends there with my little sister n fellow IICian, even the workload is awfully heavy but I really do need some time off.
Luckily the ticket was so cheap at the moment Jihani Azhar bought it.
It was a fun experience, but my other half were not be able to share it with me.
It's ok dear we'll go together after we get married, ok? ^_^

I went along with Jihani and Akmal to Sarawak, and we were so lucky because we get to ride the same flight with a bunch of Malaysian artist.
We wonder why actually but as we landed Sarawak was so busy and that was the time that I realize there is an election coming up, so the local government try to attract the voters to vote them by organizing concerts and other activities.
and they did won after all..hahaha...congratulations to the ruling party!

We catch an early flight on that day.

Lat: Kampung Boy Sebuah Muzikal was the title of the theater. It was a fun experience and every ringgit is worth.

Forgive me all dear friends for I have been too long gone from this blogging world.

Time always envy me for I have no time to write to you stories of my daily routine.

I was a student at IIC when I first learn about blog. My classmate and I was on a holiday at that time when my lecturer talk about his blog. I was so interested to know more about it. 08- Short term goals for this month and why

To lose at least 5kg of my weight because according to my BMI calculation, I am slightly overweight and that is so not cool! because I will look short if I gain few more weight! I want to stay fit and healthy (just like in school I have the ideal weight). Not skiny tho but just nice.

Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have

Well, this I have since I was in school, and it is hard to get rid of this habit. I always procrastinate all assignment given to me. I never done my homework on time, and I always end up copying other people work. It does not stop there, I will alwyas be the last person to submit my assignment during my degree. However, not to say that I am so good, but last minute work always gives me a good mark at the end of the semester. Maybe it's luck, or maybe the presure of doing last minute work (I sacrificies my sleep just to complete the assignment) makes me deliver the best in me.

But lately, I have different view. Procratinating does not do me any good.Now that I am continuing my studies, I found that I tend to do a lot of mistaktes and the work that I deliver is not as good as I did when I was in degree level. I wish and I pray to Allah that for next semester I will do my assignment as soon as I get them.

I wake up early today before the sun rise up in the sky. I turn on the TV and MHI is on air. Coincidently, the topic of discussion is somehow related to me and all of Malaysian Bloggers. From the show, I learn that Malaysia have the highest number of blogger compare to its neighbour country. Well, that does not surprise me at all, just look at our blogger comunity Nuffnang, there are so many blogger in Malaysia alone that serve nuffnang! (and I am one of them..hahaha)..

Ok, back to the main topic. So, they were discussing on the writtung pattern from back then until now. The conclusion is, we youngster is looking towards something that is fast and on the spot. We write out of pleasure, we write about our lives in the way that others might imagine us talking to them. However, the traditional writer writes about everything, in the most beautiful way (not straight forward tho). Write such as A. Samad Said, write poetry as the way to capture a picture about lives of others, current politics, love, passion, and harmony.

The poetic way of describing peace and harmony among people should be preserve, and one of the way is through songs lyrics. I love poetry and I am sure that there are still others out there have the same interest as I am, only that the main issue is whether we understand the content or not, it is up to the person itself to judge it. It is not a big mistake to write here in the blog. Maybe what they are trying to say is, we as a Malaysian should preserve our Malay Literature (oooww ok, look how's talking!!) hahahha... I know that most of my entry is in English, but next time when I write in Bahasa, I will make sure that I'll be using the correct grammar and sentences!

Ok, this might make some of you feel bored, but that's what the question wants. So, just bare with it...I am doing it for the sake of the question ;p

My family and I moved to 5 houses (as far as I could ever remember) before permanently moved to Shah Alam.
I know him for 10 years now ^__^ and hope that soon he'll be my offical other half.
My father is from Kelantan and my mother is from Melaka. I love the different culture that i grew up with...One is super loud and the other one is just nice for the ears to hear ^_^...it goes the same with the foods...One is spicy and the other one is sour and sweet...that's why i love to eat!
My sisters and I spend most of our time in the car. We do travel a lot when we was little. Not traveling for holidays, we travel to our home town, Kelantan and Melaka. It takes forever to reach Kelantan, but once arrived you will never want to leave ^_^ I love to travel by car, because I could take my own time to admire the gift that Allah had gave to us along the way...I miss Kelantan...especially the food!

I was not that excellent in school but I am so thankful to Allah, that he made me realise that I still have the ability to achieve what I am now.

Half way through

I've been half way through the semester. It has been quite a journey for me. after a year resting away from books, I've come back to see them again this year. It was my own choice, which at first I was not very sure of it. "should I do this?" "you should, just think about what you want to be" the love one said to me, and so I decided to go for it.

It was nerve racking at first but I made it half way through. I thought it would be much easier considering that there will be n final exams. I was so wrong, it is a lot harder than what I have expected. Work loads is sky high, I was so stress that I feel sick for almost 3 weeks. But with the support from my love one and classmate, I made it half way through.

Aidilfitri is just a week away, and the work awaits for me is massive! Ya Allah, I pray to you, please give me the strength and the ability to complete this task.

Have u heard the name Mohd Saiful Izan??
I don't know what happen or what are the issue until I bump into a friend's blog.
(ok, no wonder UiTM students are so angry...).

That is really brave of him to gave out such statement but I'm not here to judge, just to give out my opinion.

Based on his statement, seems like he is under estimating the quality of UiTM students or the university itself. That's not good brother..definitely not good..

People...IPTS or IPTA, whether you went to UKM, UM, UiTM, UUM, UTM, UIA or went to IIC, Lim Kok Weng, KLMU, PTPL and etc, it is all the same..the only differences is individual effort to be success
(Hey, I am talking based on my experience..)

Lets just cheer for each other, motivate each other to be the best regardless what university we went to..because sooner or later, together we will be contributing something to the economic..

"All I Could Remember"

What will you do if all you could ever remember is the sad things that happen in your life? No matter how hard you try, all there's left to be remember is the sad story. What happen to the happy and fun story? Is it hiding somewhere in the brain? or they are too shy to come out because pain outperform happiness?

There's a friend of mine, her name is Bee (BUKAN NAME SEBENAR). From the out side, she is a fun, happy go lucky and friendly girl, but on the inside all she have is just pain. 'All I could remember is the sad story, am I a freak or something? Is it normal?' All I could to was just listen to her, listen to what she want to say, listen to her heart singing a sad song.

I have no answer to her question, all I could do was sit and listen.

What Should I do to help her?? I can't just let my friend be that way for the rest of her life. Happy thought make you fly just like the lost boy in the Peter Pan movie.

Beauty

The other day when I was volunteering at Petrosains, a staff came to me and ask "do you like to write?" and I answer "yes. how do you know that". He said that I like to think and wonder on every single question that they ask me, and that I look like a day dreamer and usually day dreamer have the ability to write.

Than he ask again, "if i give you a topic/subject, can you write it for me?" and I said "sure, what's the topic?" and he said "beauty". He wanted me to write about 70 words during my lunch break time and I did, and this is what I wrote.

'What is beauty? People with have different opinion regarding this matter. Beauty
is synonym to slim and slander body with clear looking skin. But as
for me, beauty is to be judge from within. If a person have good heart and also
kind with others regardless how that person looks like, that person definitely
have a look of a super-model!'

New Year, New Life??

What have I been doing lately??? Working at a fun place, where they make science look so fun and easy to learn. It's called Petrosains =D I've been selected to be a volunteer at Petrosains (even though you know that I've little background in science), I am so thankful to my boss Abg Mozek, Abg Nazri and Abg Ahmad for giving me the opportunity to become a wonderologist. To become a wonderologist, we need to attend the Volunteer Orientation Program, and it was the best orientation program that I've ever attended in my life.

This is the man that make it all happen to me, Abg Mozek. This is during our morning roll call..

They way the facilitator/staff trained us is through fun learning activity, because that is how things run in Petrosains.

We also did some science experience. At first I thought that it would be very dull and sleepy and boring session but it turn out to be fun!

We also get a chance to visit the famous Twin Tower Sky Bridge. It is sooooooo hard to get the tickets to get up here because it's free and the line will be as long as the great wall of China as early as 7.00am (before the counter is open). and the ticket for the rest of the day will be out as early as 9.00am.

They also have a mini exhibition called Muzika. It is originated from findland and was brought to petrosains early this year. the exhibition is about science of music. it is suitable not only those who appreciate music but also to those who loves science! (hahah..promote siket)

But at the end of the training, I must say, they are the most energetic people that I've ever met. They are so fun to be with, and it is my honor to be part of this group.

(for your info, most of them is school leaver, they are waiting for their SPM results..they make me feel sooo old..heheh)

Petrosains is definitely a good place to develop all the skills that you need in the working world (communication, customer service, ENGLISH proficiency, dealing with all level of management, etc.) and definitely a good place to learn science the fun way!!

When I was Young

When I was young, as in primary school, the only friend that I have was a boy that live just upstairs where I live. He was my childhood playmate, schoolmate and best friend. Even though he is a boy but that doesn’t stop our friendship. At school, I have no friends, I was a bullied victim. I still remember, every day a girl (which is 2 years older than me) will come and take away all the money that mama gave me to bring to school (which is 60 sen at that time, I could buy a lot of food and snacks).

Every day during the break hour, I will go to the canteen feeling so hungry that my stomach was grumbling so hard until the person standing next to me could hear them. All I was able to do is watch them buy and eat their food. I was so hungry. I lost my focus in class, that i end up knowing nothing, I could not read, count or spell like everybody at my age does. Plus, my class teacher was reported to be mentally ill during my first year at primary school. Sad isn’t it? but that’s was part of my childhood life..

School days is what I miss the most. WHY? Because you got to go to school, meet your friends, learn all our favourite subjects, get involved in sports and events, be part of a club or society, and other fun stuff. I guess back then I never think much about what the future awaits for me.

The best thing about school is friendship and hardship. School is the place where we learn about friendship and what true friends looks like. It's so hard to have a person that really2 understands you and just accept who you really are, but I am so bless because I have this wonderful and fund people to call my Friend.

School is also the place where we learn about hardship. Struggle to be in line with those who are so genius in studies, to win the first place in any competition for the school and most importantly, just to be accepted by others. All that were accomplished through hardship.

But now, we still face the same situation as what we face in school but its a bit more different and more grown up. Just like the song from Bowling for soup - High School Never Ends.

one thing that i hate when i stay home is that i'll eat my heart out..huhuhuu..why? because my mama is an excellent cooks, all her meals taste sooooooo gooooooood!!..huhuhu..and at one time i could gain like 2 or 3 kilos in just 2 weeks..people are busy losing weight while i'm busy with gaining my weight..sad things but its true..i can't stop myself from eating..hahahha..eating is my new hobby! my boyfriend also facing the same problem, and that is why he is soooooo cute now (jgn marah syg)..hehehe..no matter how u look and what your weight is, i still love u laaa!but today OPRAH had open my eye (thank you oprah!)

i watch the oprah show today and its doctor's oz day! heheh, they discussed about how to live a longer life. they key is by controlling your diet! when i say diet not necessarily you need to starve to death to get that perfect body you want..all you need is the eat healthy!

on the show, there's this guy that had live for 125 years old! can you believe that!!! the best part is he could jog for an hour and do 50 push ups non-stop! (even i couldn't do that!) my jaw was wide open when i saw him actually do those push ups...he is so healthy that he does not look like he's 125 years old!!!! he still could think clearly and even better he never catch a cold or fever for the past 20 years..he's perfectly healthy people! he's secret is eat more vegetables, fruits and grains..i wonder if malaysian could do that..you know living our daily life without any single drop of fat..huhuhuhu...

and what i get from that show today is that you need fruits and vegetables to provide all the good things that our body needs..grains are one of the energy source that our body need...and exercise is so important because it helps your blood to circulate properly and to burn up all those fats that we had consume..i sounds like a pro but i'm not, just something that i would like to share with everyone..

i hope that i could change my diet and exercise more, because i want to live a healthy life and be able to do activities that other normal people do..till next time..

it's almost two weeks i sat at home doing nothing but chores...huhuhu..its fun though..now i know what housewifes do at home..like mama her schelude is very tight..woke up at 6am, do the laundry, and solat and wake my brother up to go to school..than send my brother to school, after that she when for a jog at tasik shah alam (near kedai kopi)..than she went to the market to buy some vegy and fish to cook for the day..than she went back home clean her self up and went mengaji..thank at noon she'll have her rest until 2pm, than get ready to go to the mosque for her classes..than after that she'll pick my brother up from school, than as soon as she reach home, solat and cooks diner for us..after maghrib, she'll teaches my neighbour's children mengaji..after solat isya' she'll wacth some tv and than sleep..

hectic kn? huhuhu..since i'm home for a while now..i've been helping her a bit around the house..cleaning up the toilets, cleaning up the family hall,and etc..hehhe..i'm not a big helper at home, i'm the lazy one in the family..hehhe..for now, i just resting at home and at the same time helping my boyfriend with his work..he is trying to set up his own business, since i've diploma and degree in business administration, he ask for my help in certain area..it fun helping him doing things that i now i could do..huhuhuu..

my goal now is to search for a job that is suitable for me because my father will be retiring soon and he's the sole income of the family..need to help him to pay the bills at least..so job seeker I"M HERE..hire me to be your employee (ade ke patut panggil mcm ni je..igt dorg dgr ke)..huhuu..

enough for today..maybe i'll write again tomorrow..

Salam everyone. sorry for not updating my blog lately, i need to focus on my thesis. since i only have 2 more days to make some adjustment on my thesis before i submit it for good!

so let me share with you what i've been doing lately. i completed my industrial training last 2 weeks and it was a life time experience. thank you so much for the farewell party. i learn a lot during my practical period - office politic, work, people's behaviour, customer services, phone attiques, business proposals, and many more. one thing that i regreat was i could not fully apply what i've learn at campus during the whole practical period. on the business and administration part Yes i did, but on the finance part maybe 1% out of 100%..huhuhuu

enough about the practical thing, more on to family now. happy news, i have a new cousin! hehhee..friends meet Khalif Amzar, cousin no 24 (he's from my father's side).. cute ha?! hehhehe

okay next, friends:

aisya & danial: congratulation! you'll be parents in nine months..huhuhu

on sunday, 18th october, one of my friend's mother pass away, she just recover from her health problem but Allah loves her more. i hope that he is strong for his small siblings..

as for me, i'm doing great. need to make a little bit more adjustment on my thesis and i'm done with study. i had started to search for potential job. i know with the current market condition, its hard for me and my friends to seek for jobs. i will grab whatever opportunity that lies in front of me and hope that i'll reach my target soon..

the day has finally come, just few more days and i'll be completing my last week for industrial training. i gain lots of experience, good and bad. the real working world is not as bad as what we think its going to be. it's all up to you yourself to handle the situation. 'think before you act' always keep that in mind, no matter what you do or no matter in what situation you are in, think for the best solution and make sure that solution wont cause anyone trouble.

to those that will go for their industrial training soon, remember that every movement is being monitor by your supervisor, so act on your best behavior, and show your best effort. you couldn't please everyone around you, do the best you can. remember if you don't know, just ask because that's the only way you can learn, if you think you are able to do it, just do it but remember ask for opinion whether you are doing the right thing or not.

setelah hampir 2 bulan ku menjalani latihan industry ku di Sime Darby Industrial Academy (SDIA), ni lah pertame kali nye aku kene marah dgn customer. waaaaa, wa agak bengang skit loh!

heheh ade ke ptut die marah aku yang tak tau ape2 psl invoice yang boss aku buat. da la account officer yg aku assist tu MC hari ni, pastu bos aku gi Sabah, bos lagi satu bz dgn management training class tu, yg lagi sorg ade conference kt sime darby group, so aku xde tempat nk refer. waaaa..penin wa ali ini..da la isi dlam invoice tu pun aku x penah tgk, mcm mane nk jwb soklan bertubi2 yg dilempar kn tu..arghhh!!

tp tu lah name nye experience, without that kind of experience, i wont be able to make any decision. nak tau solution ape yang kau buat, since customer tu mintak account no utk comp bank (siap nk address bank skali tu), aku pun call la treasury department, dorg la penyelamat ku pada hari ini..hehehhee..thank u anty ani ^___^

pastu, tibe2 bos aku call dr sabah (pucat jugak la muke ku bile dgr suare die), die tanye what happen sbb customer tu call handfon die..hehehe..so aku pun story la kat die..at the end of the day (aku pinjam ayat bos aku ;p) aku da buat one customer happy..and me? i get an experience that i've never had before..Alhamdulillah..

"After A Month"

Salam & hello everyone. it has been a month since i wrote a single word in this blog. really2 miss doing so, but what can i do when i came back from work feeling tired and all i think about is getting myself a beautiful sleep.

i think that i haven't mention yet what makes me feel tired all the time.
it has been a month since i started my first day as an on the job training student (practical training) at Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Tractors Malaysia Sdn Bhd). i am under the supervision of Manager on the Human Resource Development Department, which conduct training for internal and external customer of the company.

You must be wondering why am i being put in the HRD department? under this HRD department, an academy called Sime Darby Industrial Academy is formed, to provide vocational courses for SPM students as well as working people who are interested. well, since i'm doing my practical training or industrial training or what ever name you call it, this department suits me well, because i am still in the learning process. at the HRD department they thought me on business skills that i need to have such as communication skills, and other soft skills. apart from that i also learned on how the company works and what type of training that they provide. As a student of Finance, i definitely cant run away from counting money and prepare the cash flow for the department.

i am trying to have fun while working because i cant handle stress as i do when i was in college. its totally different working with people and working with papers and books. you can feel the differences every time you come back from work. all you want to do is just sit back, relax and have all the time you need for your self without any disturbance.

but i could still manage it, because I always remind myself that i am doing this for my own good, for my future and the way i handle the situation now reflects on what the future will be (in other words i take it positively).

i would like to say congratulation to my sister syafiqah and my cousin abu, on their enrollment to UiTM, i wish you good luck and forget about home and have all the fun that you can only get as a university student!! well that's all for now people.

Another day pass by and just few days more and I'll be off for industrial training. what do i feel at this moment?? mmm...nothing much. the excitement is not into me yet. so all i do is wait and wait and wait and wait and wait until zzzZZzzZZzZZZzz...

since there's nothing to do much at home, I've started to do some journal digging and reading on the topic that I'll be doing research on. it's on Islamic Finance. what is Islamic finance? it is the system that is similar to the conventional finance system, but the system used MUST according to the Islamic Law (Shariah).

why do i choose to do research on this topic?? it all started during my fourth semester in UiTM, where the university acquire us to take Islamic Finance subject. since that time, I've decided to be part of this industry because there are so many new things that needed to be discovered and i want to be part of the team that discovers and developed the industry.
apart from that, as a Muslim i feel like it is my duty to be part of the industry because it is all about the Islamic Principles where risk, gambling and the uncertainty is forbidden. so the income that is generated or gain through the Islamic investment is free from the prohibited elements and it can be used without any doubt of whether it is from the HALAL source or not.

seems like I'm too ambitious ha? but it's my goal and I'm sticking to it.

i just submitted my draft proposal to my dearest thesis advisor, all i have to do now is wait and sees what happens.

today, me and best friend asma went to the airport (KLIA), to sent my beloved boyfriend off to Umrah. He went along with his grandmother, aunt and his cousin. his flight took off at 3.20pm and will be arriving at Jeddah at 12 midnight (7.00pm local time) today. I'm happy for him.

last night was a great night, because i get to hangout with my best friends. we had a great time, laughing all the way to Pak Li at seksyen 7. We did some catching up with each other (actually i'm the ne that is totally UNUPDATED, hehehhee). supposely there were four of us (including me) but one of my friend can't make it.

we were friends sisnce secondary school, we always did silly and fun things together. there were 6 of us (including me) but now its hardly to get together and hangout..

"Examination Week"

The most waited month of all has come (ye ker? hehehee). It is the time for us to spill out the knowledge we have onto white blank papers..Just thinking of it makes me nervous, and that is what i feel every time the examination week come.

I am the last minute person where almost everything that i did (assignments, presentation & etc) I'll do it on the last minute time. Why?? because i tend to perform and came out with beautiful complete assignments plus getting good grades for what i did (the good side of pressure to me ;p). This also applies to the final exam. I just don't know why, but it is the only way that i could understand and remember about the topic i read. funny right? its it the blood actually, some of my aunts express the same (hehheeee).

So, to all UiTM students especially to my friends here in UiTM Segamat, I pray that we'll be graduating with flying colors.. ALL THE BEST FRIENDS!
