Father to Be

I love my hubby so much. He has been great since I got pregnant. He never fail to make me feel comfortable all the way and never fail to be at my side each time I need him. Thank you honey, only Allah knows what you have gone through and Allah will reward you for that.

We were both scared at first but we are now feeling rather excited for our first baby. We had searching around for an affordable baby cot for our baby and we finally reach to a decision to buy one at Ikea. The excitement of having our first baby makes us want to buy so many things at once but with limited fund, other thing can wait. So, few nights ago, he decided to assemble the baby cot.

We have one happy father to be here. He has done such a good work, so I decided to reward him by making a homemade burger. He has been talking about eating those famous grill burger, so I made one. 

Made the beef patty myself and bought the bread at Carefour. It is so delicious.

He ate it like he never ate a burger before! I am one happy mother to be to see my husband ate like that ^_^ He loves my cooking but I never get the chance to cook for him that often since we are still living with my parents. I love you honey! I'll cook for you again soon ^_^

Ahlaa Cafe

I have been sitting at home for too long. I need to find myself something to do, something that needed me to moves around. So, I called up a friend of mine Jihani, that has recently open up a homemade style cafe known as Ahlaa Cafe and asked her if she needed any extra help. It is my luck that she really needed one!

So I did find myself a job as a cafe helper (my own job position hahahhaha). I help her as much as I could from food preparation as well as the cafe waitress. I always wanted to become a waiter because I like to see those happy and satisfied faces when they receive their orders and finished up their meals. I did my best to help her around and I am actually happy that even tho I am almost 7 months pregnant at that time, I was able to be very helpful.

I had a blast time with Ahlaa Cafe, but unfortunately I wasn't able to work there any longer since I had reach my third trimester. My sister is now replacing me. I miss decorating the pavlova so much and most of all, I miss working with my friend Jihani \^_^/

A Year After

A year ago, on this day, your family came to my house.

We got engaged and we were happy.

Now we are happily married and expecting our first child.

76th Convocation Day

Woke up at 6.15am and get dressed.
Put on a little eyeliner and some compact powder on my face so I wont be looking too pale.
IT's my graduation day and it's the first graduation that I'll be going as a wife!
My husband and my ayoh was there with me through the whole day in the hall.

Arrived at the university at 7.45am and people had started queuing up to enter the hall.
I thought we will be entering at 8.30am but unfortunately no.
His royal highness and his wife arrived at almost 10.00am which mean I've been standing in line for about 2 hours. My legs were killing me!

I was so honor to meet His royal highness in person!
He is so adorable!! He look a little bit like my late grandfather.
Even he is in his golden age but he was standing strong up on the stage awarding the certificate to more than 1000 graduates! Incredible!

I had a great time tho. Meeting up with the girls. Taking pictures and gossiping!
But most of all, I am happy because I could share the day with my husband.
It was our 6th month anniversary on that day.
Thank you dear for being there for me. I love you ^_^

My Number

6 Month and counting

According to my calendar, I have now reach my 6 month of pregnancy. Just imagine how fast time fly. Seems like it was only yesterday I did my home pregnancy test. I am now half way through my pregnancy. Feelings you ask? Great! hahaha... Alhamdulillah, I am now morning sickness free and I can do all sorts of daily routine like house chores, window shopping, vacation and attending my convocation ceremony tomorrow. I feel happy as the kicking gets stronger and stronger every day. The baby now loves to kick especially when my husband is around. As if the baby could sense the presents of his/her father and that makes me even more happier. I am so blessed!

At this stage, I am experiencing all the discomfort of carrying a big belly...hahahhaaha... Not to complaint but just to share my experience. I have started to have back pains and cramps on my legs especially when it is cold at night. My sleeping hour become less as I find it quite difficult to sleep at night (difficult in finding the right sleeping position to be precises). My foot are starting to swell especially before bed time. I sweat a lot especially at night (nasib ade air cond).

All that is nothing when you got to see your baby each time you see your doctor. It truly is a miracle to see there is another human being in my body. I am happy to know that my baby is progressing well and healthy. I am expected to deliver on 31st of August 2012 (it maybe a week early or a week late from the expected date). I pray that my baby will continue to grow healthier and stronger each day. May Allah protect my baby from any misfortune and that he/she will be born as a healthy little baby. Mama and papa can't wait to meet you little one. ^_^
